Impressive!
By Car Buff JR | on 5/15/2026 6:04:32 PM
We purchased one of the first 2026 Tiguan SEL Turbos about 5.5 months ago and now with 2.700 miles I'm very impressed with the ride, quietness, quality and performance (268 HP and no turbo lag!) It is fully loaded with even more features than we were used to in our 2022 Audi Q5 Sportback and for about 15K less. Features such as front AND rear heated seats and steering wheel, park distance control, adaptive front driving lights, 20" wheels, AWD, clima coat windshield with full UV protection, Harmon Kardon audio, dynamic road sign display, panoramic sunroof, and rich looking premium leather ventilated seats with MASSAGE are a few standard features in this model that would be 60K+ in any other make. Also, 28.3 MPG average since new in a money saving non- hybrid only requiring regular gas with a cruising range over 500 miles per tank full. That's why it's impressive! JR… - 5.0

I have some regrets not getting the top model, just for the extra equipment. So far with 2000 miles it's been trouble free. There is a learning curve on the tech but that's true of any modern vehicle. The ride is smooth. The steering is precise. And the milage. 25 in the city. 30 on the highway. In recent years I have had a Jaguar, 2 Volvo's, 3 Mazda's, and an Audi.…
